Wooden Door – Window
Demand on wooden inreasing in window production.
In general, laminated wooden is preferable than PVC windows in aspects of cost and product placement. Changed massive wooden follows wooden windows with its characteristic such as the resistance to fungus, bugs and UV rays provided with physically and chemically methods.
In germany spoken countries, more than 80% of window industry are interested in possible using changed massive wooden to produce window, this rate increases to 95% in laminated wooden. However, in a researchment of Interconnection shows that there is a great lack of knowledge about possible uses.
Even though wooden window gets the highest scores and plaudit by consumers and architects in most categories such as decoration, asthetichs, easy repair, comfort and decreasing heat and noise; its market share has been decreasing in germany spoken countries and most of east european countries for years. The reason of that is supposed to think its price and cost of maintenance is high. The only way to catch up a successful selling tendency is to change these two beliefs ( high price and cost of maintenance).
Andersen Windows ( Michigan-USA), which uses patent material Fibrex (40% wooden fiber and 60% PVC or polypropylene mix) in most productions and is the biggest window producer in the world, claimed that alternative wooden materials catched up a successful trend in other regions too and English siding producer HW Plastics (Heywood Williams Group) has become the biggest authority in Europe.
In Germany spoken countries, so many researcment institutes are working on possible use of alternative wooden materials. After a researchment by Wooden Compound Materials and Wooden Chemistry Authorization Center of Agriculturel University of Vienna ( Wood K Plus), Interconnection Consultancy made an observation ,which now has the results, about wooden industry with the help of a news agency named “fernsterplatz.de”. 123 joiners related to window and door industry attended to this researchment and 78% of these people were in high positions to give decisions (company owners or managers). Concluison was clear; 82.2% of joiners were interested or highly interested in the results of possible use of changed massive wooden. When it was about laminated wooden this number rised up to 94.4%. But, the most ostensible thing was the lack of knowledge about this topic. 22% of the joiners were highly well informed about laminated wooden but only 13% of them had the knowledge of changed massive wooden.
In general, laminated wooden is preferable than PVC windows in aspects of cost and product placement. Changed massive wooden follows wooden windows with its characteristic such as the resistance to fungus, bugs and UV rays provided with physically and chemically methods. Thus, most of the joiners claimed that market chance of laminated wooden windows would be guaranteed if the selling price of it was decreased 7% less than normal wooden windows.
